AC Milan edge have stepped to make deal for the Lille defender Sven Botman.
During the transfer window, Milan and Newcastle United were sign the international but Lille delayed this deal until the summer for the upcoming season
Magpies co-owner Amanda Staveley has claimed from last week that the center-back was still considering it a move to St James’ Park before 2023.
However, according to Calciomercato, Milan have responded to the news by accelerating contract negotiations with the 22-year-old main super star player, he also showed that there may be also interest from other sides.
Report suggestes that the series a contenders have made a good progress in negotiations over some personal terms and issues of Botman.
As it stands neither any club agreed to Lille to pay fee in such a amount, but the French side are said to be keen to cash in on Botman and a suspected Tottenham Hotspur because the Champions League season is coming and it is high on demand.
