The latest news is Harry could reunite with former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino, in case the Argentine leaves him Paris Saint Germain to take charge of Manchester United.
Mauricio Pochettino remained as the best candidate for the Manchester united from the few years. But now, it seems that he wants Harry Kane at manager job if he takes over at Old Trafford.
The former manager of Tottenham Hotspur Pochettino lead the Spurs to the Champions League final in the last moments with Kane in attack, at the same time secured the multiple top-four finishes in the Premier League, but in the new reports he could reunite in the latest cards.
Right now, the care taker manager of Manchester United is Ralf Rangnick he would resign at the end of this season. Therefore, United is looking at different management options, the best on in the list is Spain manager Luis Enrique, but it cannot be confirmed that Luis Enrique will take the charge when Ralf Rangnick’ resign from his charge.
In the current scenario, the Paris Saint-Germain boss is chosen to take the reins in this case then move for the Kane would be welcome sight.
According to The Telegraph latest news, Pochettino is in high favor to urge the Manchester united hierarchy to move for the Kane if is available and fit for manager job for the team. Moreover, he wants him to join on permanent basis this manager job.
The England Captain came close to Manchester United in the summer window, only for the purpose to fail the materialise. He endured rough training during the last few months in the last season of Premium League, before regaining his form at Antonio Conte.
During this latest season Kane has goals of 15 in all competitions. But he scored five goals in the league only. But still he is far away then his best performance of 41 goals in all competitions in the season 2017-18 when he was playing under Pochettino.
In November, breakneck start to the season, just a month after England’s Euro 2020 final disappointment, he was little depressed and that’s why he required time to digest the summer window disappointed. It effected his performance for the next season.
“Obviously we play a lot of games during whole of the year and there’s not a lot of time to recover and reflect on things we want,” he said.
“Any chance that you can get into that training camp is work on some stuff and get back to what you know best is important thing. That’s definitely what I tried to do make myself better.”
Now, the big problem for United is they have to choose permanent manager for job. They made some contracts with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November, with Rangnick till this season. At the end of the season Rangnick contract will end. So, they have to choose the manager (permanent) the best option for them is Kane in this situation.
The role of German would be as consultant when new manager will come to the team. In that new scenario Pochettin will remain as a contender despite only taking over at PSG in January year 2021.
Zinedine Zidane has been linked with the top job in Paris (France City), and Pochettino has responded to that his current club is linked with a man he considers a “great manager”.
According to Pochettino:
“He can train any coach in the world. Although, he is French. That is one more question for the sports director or the president at this occasion,” Pochettino told Cadena SER when asked about it.
“Look, when Zinedine Zidane was at Real Madrid and working for them, how many rumors did not come out of me about him [when he was] in England?
When we take over a club with the visibility of PSG ( Paris Saint Germain), we know very well, that comes with the job.”
